How to Brew the Perfect V60 at Home

The Art of Brewing with V60

The V60 pour-over method is one of the cleanest, most precise ways to enjoy specialty coffee. With just a few tools and the right technique, you can unlock the full flavor potential of your beans — right at home.

What You’ll Need:

  • V60 dripper and paper filter
  • Freshly ground Red Field Coffee (medium-fine grind)
  • Gooseneck kettle
  • Digital scale
  • Timer
  • Hot water (195–205°F)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Place the filter in the V60 and rinse it with hot water to eliminate paper taste.
  2. Add 15g of coffee to the filter.
  3. Start your timer. Pour 30g of water in a circular motion to bloom the grounds (00:00–00:30).
  4. Continue pouring slowly in circles until you reach 250g of total water (00:30–02:30).
  5. Let it drip completely. Enjoy your cup of clean, flavorful coffee!

Pro Tip:

Use a light-roasted Red Field single origin to highlight fruity and floral notes. Try our Geisha Panama for a vibrant experience.
