The Art of Brewing with V60
The V60 pour-over method is one of the cleanest, most precise ways to enjoy specialty coffee. With just a few tools and the right technique, you can unlock the full flavor potential of your beans — right at home.
What You’ll Need:
- V60 dripper and paper filter
- Freshly ground Red Field Coffee (medium-fine grind)
- Gooseneck kettle
- Digital scale
- Timer
- Hot water (195–205°F)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Place the filter in the V60 and rinse it with hot water to eliminate paper taste.
- Add 15g of coffee to the filter.
- Start your timer. Pour 30g of water in a circular motion to bloom the grounds (00:00–00:30).
- Continue pouring slowly in circles until you reach 250g of total water (00:30–02:30).
- Let it drip completely. Enjoy your cup of clean, flavorful coffee!
Pro Tip:
Use a light-roasted Red Field single origin to highlight fruity and floral notes. Try our Geisha Panama for a vibrant experience.
